ABI Waiver Program

Details:
The Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Program provides home and community-based services to individuals in Kentucky who have experienced a brain injury. This program helps support clients in living safely and independently within their communities instead of institutional settings. Services may include therapy, personal care, case management, and other supports tailored to individual needs.

Eligibility:

  • Must have a medically documented acquired brain injury.

  • Be a resident of Kentucky.

  • Meet financial and clinical criteria established by the state Medicaid program.

  • Require assistance to live safely in the community.
